A Message About Funding

The administration of St. Rose of Lima School continues to keep the health of our
Catholic school in mind, while at the same time we remain aware of increasing
costs and expenses.

Our school budget for the 2007-2008 school year anticipates ordinary
expenditures of $1,887,820. This excludes any provision for major capital
improvements. Tuition fees amount to approximately 64.6% of project revenue,
while fund raising, the subsidy from St. Rose of Lima Parish, and all other operating revenue will contribute
approximately 12.8%, 16.5% and 6.1% respectively.

Each family must meet their financial obligation by timely payment of tuition, support of fund raising activities
and weekly use of the Church offertory envelopes. The two major fund raising activities include the annual St.
Rose of Lima Family Festival held in July and the Heart to Heart Goods and Services Auction held in January.
These blockbuster events join the school community with the parish community in an environment of solid
family fun.
