Parade-a-thon
The annual Parade-a-thon is an event designed to provide a day of activities for
the children.
They start off in the morning at school and then walk from St. Rose to John
Burns Park. They are escorted by the Nassau County Police Department, Sr.
Kathleen and parent volunteers.
Upon their arrival, they break into groups and begin an assortment of activities
from egg racing to sporting activities. The children raise money for the school
based on their activities. This is a fun day for all who participate.
The most important ingredient to this event is the family volunteers. Without their
assistance, the children would not be able to enjoy this fun filled day.
Thank You to the Parents & Thank You to the Nassau County Police Department.
