Additional programs include Story Telling for younger children and Speech for older children.
These programs are carefully coordinated for each grade level with an emphasis on self confidence and
language skills for all age levels.
Below is an example of an early grade level Story Telling event.

The story tellers were cheered on by their classmates, Mrs. Jeanne
Commisso and the school’s Principal, Sr. Kathleen Gallina as well. In
order to qualify as a Story Teller, in the higher grades each student was
required to perform a story to their class using props, their memory and
acting skills. In the lower grades, participation was on a voluntary
basis. The story teller was then selected by their classmates and
teacher.
The stories taught lessons to the audience while the story tellers were
practicing their public speaking and confidence skills. The children
were just adorable. Each stood on the stage in front of a microphone
that had to be adjusted for each child. The Story Tellers were selected
to perform in a random order which contributed to the excitement. Each
Story Teller was presented with a Certificate of Participation by Sr.
Kathleen at the end of the program. Congratulations to all of the
children for doing a fine job and congratulations to the audience for
being so well behaved and enthusiastic!
