Mother Son Event
The Home School Association holds a Mother Son event each year during a weekend day in
the spring. It is open to all boys and their moms who attend St. Rose of Lima School. This
event varies from a trip to the Intrepid Museum or the New York Hall of Science to a
sporting event such as a Dragon’s Football Game. The mothers and their sons also
emjoyed a trip to see the Big Apple Circus. On the day of the event the committee gives a
goody bag to each boy and a gift for each mom. One year each mom was presented with a
picture of her and her son.
